Your Madeira Proposal & Engagement Photographers

The price reflects much more than the time we spend together during the photoshoot. From the moment you book, it includes weeks of communication and planning, our availability whenever you need advice, location and weather planning, transportation to remote locations, and the physical work of carrying and operating professional equipment, sometimes in challenging weather, terrain and exposed environments.

After the photoshoot, there are additional hours spent selecting, editing and delivering your photographs.

Most importantly, you are paying for the experience behind every decision we make. Years of working in the field and photographing Madeira allow us to make educated decisions about locations, timing, light, weather and changing conditions rather than simply showing up with a camera.

We operate as a fully registered photography business in Portugal, and all our prices include applicable taxes.

From your first message to the delivery of your final gallery, you can expect the level of communication, preparation and attention that comes with a premium photography service.

We specialise in photography and filmmaking, and that's where we keep our focus.

We don't organise proposal decorations, styled picnics, arches, flowers, candles or other event setups. If you'd like to create a decorated proposal or a more elaborate setup, we recommend working with an event or proposal planner who can take care of those details professionally.

We're very happy to coordinate with your planner so that the photography, timing, location and setup all work together.

For many proposals, however, no additional setup is necessary. Madeira's landscapes already provide an incredible backdrop, and we can help you choose a beautiful location and plan the timing and photography around your proposal.

Our Essential Package is our starting package and represents the minimum investment for a photoshoot. Additional services, locations and coverage can be adjusted depending on your needs, but we don't offer shorter "mini sessions" below this package.

The duration shown for each package is an estimate to help you plan your day rather than a strict timer. Every person, couple and family is different, so sometimes we finish a little earlier and sometimes we spend more time together. What matters to us is that we have created the right amount and variety of great photographs, because ultimately, that's what you're booking us for.

A shorter shooting time also doesn't reduce the majority of the work involved in a booking. Even a 20-minute session would still require communication and planning beforehand, location and weather preparation, often around an hour of travel each way, equipment preparation, and the selection and editing of your photographs afterwards.

For this reason, reducing a photoshoot to 20 minutes and delivering only a handful of images wouldn't proportionally reduce the cost of providing the service. Our Essential Package is therefore the minimum at which we can offer the full experience and standard of work we want every client to receive.

Madeira's weather can change quickly and varies significantly between different parts of the island. After years of working here, we have extensive experience analysing local weather patterns and, in around 95% of cases, can predict the conditions at a specific location 1-2 days in advance.

This means there is a very small chance that we simply arrive at a location and discover that the weather isn't suitable. We monitor the conditions before every photoshoot and make educated decisions based on the latest forecasts, webcams, wind, cloud levels and our experience.

We keep our schedule flexible, especially during the winter months, specifically for this reason. If necessary, we will suggest moving your photoshoot to a day with better conditions or choosing a different location where the weather is more suitable.

Our priority is always to give you the best possible conditions for your photographs rather than rigidly sticking to the original plan when we know there is a better option.

Our photography style combines natural, candid moments with carefully composed images that showcase Madeira's landscapes. We want you to look like yourselves rather than feel like you're following a list of poses, so we give direction when needed while leaving plenty of space for real interaction and spontaneous moments.

Visually, our work is cinematic, atmospheric and strongly influenced by the landscape, light and weather. We often photograph wider compositions where you become part of Madeira's dramatic scenery, alongside closer portraits and natural details to create a varied gallery.

Our editing is polished but natural. We work carefully with colour, light and atmosphere while keeping skin tones realistic and avoiding heavy filters or trends that can quickly date photographs.

We offer couples, engagement and surprise proposal photoshoots, honeymoon, family and maternity sessions, as well as elopement and intimate wedding photography across Madeira Island.

We also offer photography and filmmaking together, including drone photography and video, and private photography tours for photographers who want to explore and photograph Madeira's landscapes.

We are based in Madeira, Portugal, and work across the entire island. We regularly photograph in locations including Seixal, Fanal Forest, Porto da Cruz, Ponta de São Lourenço and Madeira's mountain areas, as well as many lesser-known locations around the island.

For most of our packages, you don't need to travel to us - we meet you directly at the selected photoshoot location.
